Most "own" developments are undertaken in partnership with strategic partners or local people within communities where Safland intends to become involved.

Il Posto Properties Pty Ltd
Safland through its directors is a 60% partner in this company that was formed to develop property in the Pretoria North area. The first development that is anchored by Woolworths will be completed on 1 November 2007.

A black owned enterprise that was set up in partnership with local people from Thaba Chewu, (Lydenburg) that aims to redevelop the existing taxi facility and develop a 10 000 square metre Commuter Centre.
- Tenant related services through BICS, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Safland Property Group. Safland was well aware of the frustration experienced by all Tenants in obtaining occupation certification and other forms of approval and services from Municipalities and Local Government. BICS was the only company to offer these services to Tenants and Landlords and it therefore made strategic sense to the Safland Board to purchase a controlling share in this company.
Services include:
- Occupation Certificates
- Consultation services that relate to health, fire and safety aspects
- Facilitation with regards to service delivery from Local Government, Fixed line operators and Utilities

- The services offered by Fractional Property Solutions are currently mainly aimed at the holiday and leisure market. This is not core to the business of Safland but the Directors felt that this is the preferred vehicle to be used in future by people who wish to own second or investment properties We are convinced that, to be successful in this emerging market, the Company needs to become one of the early adopters and leaders in this field.
Fractional Property Solutions aims to become the first company to provide web based management and trading services to the fractional ownership industry.
Managing Risk
At SAFLAND we believe that a successful tenant is the only true Asset held by any owner of rental property. The same applies to the Tenant who needs to achieve a sustainable turnover to justify the expense of leasing the premises.
SAFLAND employ the necessary skills, experience and systems to ensure early identification of problems thus to ensure a proactive approach in managing most forms of risk that our clients face on a daily basis.
This combined with the Company's thorough understanding of investment property and retail property development, provide it's clients with the edge that is required to remain competitive in a highly challenging environment.
